Dear Parents
Each spring, our children share their important work and accomplishments over the course of the year, which have been collected in their own portfolios.  This is a wonderful opportunity for all of us to honor and celebrate children for their learning, their interests, and their abilities.  It is also an opportunity for children to talk with you about their work and to showcase some of their favorite activities.  Sign-up sheets for conferences times are or will be placed outside your child’s classroom; please indicate your choice of appointment time.  Dates of conferences are:

Your child’s teacher will be available throughout the conference to support you and your child but please remember that this is a student led conference and not a time for teacher and parents’ consultation.  Should you have any questions pertaining to the portfolio please feel free to ask your child’s teacher. The final section of the portfolio contains a sheet that we would like you all to complete before leaving the classroom and it is written in both Italian and English.  Again if you are unsure as to how to complete this feedback sheet, the teachers will be happy to assist you.
